Overview
The Adventmarkt am Dom Wesel 2024 opened on the 1st Advent weekend in front of the Willibrordi Cathedral. Pre-opening Friday 6–9 PM, Saturday 11 AM–8 PM with Christmas carol singing at 5 PM, Sunday 11 AM–6 PM (shopping from 1 PM). Exclusively association stalls with homemade products.
The 2024 edition confirmed the unique concept of the Adventmarkt: no commercial exhibitors, only associations and non-profit organizations. The joint Christmas carol singing on Saturday evening and the reusable cup initiative made the market one of the most sustainable events of its kind in North Rhine-Westphalia.
Programme
