Advent am Dorfteich Biestow

On the first Advent Sunday of 2025, the neighbourhood of Rostock's Biestow district once again gathered by the village pond. The focus of the celebration was the illumination of the Christmas tree and the setting up of the nativity scene figures. An Advent star shone from the church tower, its mounting financed by donations from the district. A cosy campfire and festive brass music accompanied the evening. Organised by the Biestow parish and the Leben in Biestow association, the Advent am Dorfteich was once again a heartwarming start to the Christmas season in the south of the Hanseatic city.
