Overview

The Achkarrer Herbsthock 2025 took place on the first weekend of October 2025 at the Achkarren winemakers' cooperative. Burgundy tasting, lounge party, tractor tours through the volcanic vineyards, and Kaiserstuhl specialties attracted visitors from all over Breisgau and Alsace.

Herbst Hock 2025

The 2025 edition continued the concept of the modern 'Hock' format: the tradition of the Baden 'Hocketse' meets lounge atmosphere, and the family program meets the wine evening. The cooperative's Burgundy line benefited from a warm, sunny summer in 2025 — the vintage promised depth and fruit.

The tractor tours through the steep volcanic slopes were once again a crowd-puller — a format that distinguishes the Achkarrer Herbsthock from comparable 'Hocks' in Markgräflerland and Ortenau, and also makes it interesting for wine tourists from France and Switzerland.
