Edition 2025 — 955 Years Oberoppurg
In 2025, preparations began for the 955th anniversary in 2026. Clubs, the local council, and the festival committee mobilized the population and presented initial program outlines. Kick-off events and information evenings prepared citizens for the big festival weekend.
The preparatory phase in 2025 was marked by organizational efforts and laid the foundation for the three-day anniversary celebration in 2026 during Pentecost. The rural region of the Saale-Orla district is known for its strong club network – a crucial factor for the success of such anniversary events.
