Overview
2025 was the major preparatory year for Alverdissen's 875th village anniversary in 2026. The Bürger- und Verkehrsverein Alverdissen e.V. planned the two-day festive weekend in close coordination with the Barntrup town administration, which was simultaneously preparing for its 650th city anniversary. The local associations (Schützenbruderschaft, MGV Liederfreund, Vocalissimo, TBV Jahn) prepared their respective program items. Regular club festivals took place in 2025 as usual.
Preparations for the village anniversary began several years in advance. The 2026 festive weekend is the actual highlight; 2025 was the year of planning and mobilization for Alverdissen's associations and citizens.
