Overview

The 66th 7-Täler-Volksfest took place in July 2025 in Dietfurt an der Altmühl. Five days of festivities at the Bahnhofstraße festival grounds, Riemhofer festival tent with Gschrey festival kitchen, covered beer garden, amusement rides, and the music program with bands and show bands once again characterized this Upper Palatinate folk festival in the Altmühltal Nature Park.

The 66th edition in 2025 continued the decades-old tradition. The 7-Täler Queen 2025/2026 represented the festival at the opening parade and beer tapping ceremony. The festival tent of Friedrich Riemhofer from Riedenburg provided the festival beer, and the Gschrey festival kitchen served thousands of guests with roast chicken, grilled fish, and specialties from Lower Bavaria and Upper Palatinate.

On the festival grounds on Bahnhofstraße, there were classic Volksfest amusement rides – dodgems, carousels, children's train – as well as shooting galleries and candy stands. The program combined traditional folk music during the day with party and dance bands in the evening. Dietfurt – the town of the "Bavarian Chinese" and the seven valleys – once again confirmed its importance in the Upper Palatinate folk festival calendar.
