Overview

The 21st 7-Seen-Wanderung took place from May 9 to 11, 2025, in the Leipziger Neuseenland around Markkleeberg. Several thousand participants experienced three days of hiking, stand-up paddling, and thematic guided walks along the lake landscape.

Hiking Joy 2025

The 21st edition of the 7-Seen-Wanderung in 2025 confirmed the event's reputation as East Germany's largest hiking event. Over 70 tours — guided and unguided — led across the Neuseenland: around Markkleeberger See, Cospudener See, Zwenkauer See, and Störmthaler See. Once again, the XXL classics, the SUP tours, and the historic VINETA boat tour were featured.

The organizer, Verein Leipziger Wanderer e.V., once again drew a positive conclusion and laid the foundation for the 2026 anniversary edition with the early registration phase in November 2025.
