In the previous year, the traditional community festival of Demitz-Thumitz took place at the Sports and Leisure Centre – as a preview of the 650th anniversary in 2026. Live music, club presentations, and community spirit characterized the program in the Granite Village.
The 2025 community festival in Demitz-Thumitz brought together the residents of the Granite Village at the Sports and Leisure Centre. Live music, local stage performances, and club stands formed a classic Saxon village festival. Preparations for the major 650th anniversary in 2026 were already at the forefront of community communication.
