2025 Review

In 2025, the festival definitively established its mix of Electro, HipHop, and Family programming as a Hamburg summer tradition. Fritz Kalkbrenner was the focus of the Electro nights, while Samy Deluxe brought a special German-language rap evening to the main stage with his "Block Party Deluxe." Nina Hepburn delivered the melodic Techno highlight. Mexican Wrestling Battles, the Open Art Area, and the street food line made the grounds an experience space beyond just the music.

In the Hamburg-Mitte district (St. Pauli neighborhood, on the border with the Schanzenviertel in the Altona district), 45Hertz consolidated itself as the urban open-air festival with the greatest diversity — deliberately not limited to one scene.
