The 33rd Rositzer Kirmes in 2025 was held in the spirit of tradition. Parade on Saturday with Altenburg peasant costumes and harvest crown, farmers' market with traditional crafts, festival tent with choir concerts and brass bands — one of the largest events in the Altenburger Land district.

Rositzer Kirmes 2025 — 33rd Edition

In September 2025, the 33rd Rositzer Kirmes took place over four days on the third weekend of September. The traditional parade on Saturday brought together club delegations, floats, peasant costumes, and pipe bands in a procession that showcased the tradition of the Altenburger Land. In the festival tent, brass bands, choirs, and cover bands alternated, and traditional crafts were displayed at the farmers' market.
