33 Years of VW Classics in Celle

The Celle Beetle Meet has established itself as a traditional gathering for air-cooled Volkswagens since its inception. With its 33rd edition in 2026, the Käferclub Celle e.V. celebrates another anniversary year. The event is one of the best-known gatherings of its kind in Northern Germany.

What Comes Together

Around 350 classic cars, all at least 30 years old, are expected. The focus is on air-cooled Volkswagens:

• VW Beetles in all variants (Standard, Export, 1303, Cabrio)
• VW T1 and T2 Buses (“Bulli”)
• Karmann-Ghia Coupé and Cabrio
• VW Type 3 (Variant, 1500, 1600)
• Porsche 356 and early Porsche 911

Parts Market and Trophy Awards

In parallel with the meet, there will be a large parts market offering original parts, reproductions, tools, literature, and accessories for the restoration and maintenance of these classics. A jury will award trophies in various categories for the best vehicles.

Family Program

The meet is explicitly family-friendly: food stalls, a children's program, and the open atmosphere of the French Garden make the Beetle Meet interesting for families too – not just for dedicated gearheads.
