Tanzlinde Peesten 2025 – Lindenkerwa and Preparations

In 2025, the traditional Lindenkerwa took place in Peesten as every year in the summer. As is customary in Franconia, club members and festival guests danced in the 87 m² wooden hall in the linden tree's crown – a tradition that has survived in only a few places in Germany.

In parallel, the Förderkreis Tanzlinde Peesten was already working on preparations for the 25th anniversary of the reconstruction in 2026. The Förderkreis itself has existed for over 25 years and has been committed to preserving the historic structure ever since. A report by the Fränkischer Tag honored the association's commitment.
