Overview
Before the major 150th anniversary in 2026, the FFW Schambach celebrated its annual club festival in 2025 in its usual form. Preparations for the 2026 founding festival took concrete shape throughout the season: awarding the contract for the festival tent, program planning, invitations to neighboring brigades, and restoration of the historic 1876 club flag.
The FFW Schambach (a district of Straßkirchen, Lkr Straubing-Bogen) is one of the traditional fire brigades of the Gäuboden region. In 2025, club life continued as usual, but intensive preparations for the grand 2026 anniversary festival week were underway in the background.
The restoration of the historic 1876 flag and the program planning, including the Gäuboden Oldtimer Meeting and the flag consecration, spanned the entire year.
