In 2025, the Engelsberg Volunteer Fire Brigade prepared for its grand 150th anniversary festival in 2026. The festival committee, patron fire brigade, and the community life surrounding the brigade laid the groundwork for the nine-day anniversary celebration in the following year.
The year 2025 was dedicated to preparations for the upcoming 150th anniversary of the Engelsberg Volunteer Fire Brigade. A festival of this magnitude – with a week-long celebration, cabaret evening, vintage car meeting, and festive church service – is organized over many months by the festival committee, the patron fire brigade, and the entire village community. In parallel, regular duty and training operations, as well as club activities, maintained the brigade's daily routine.
