Overview
2025 was the preparation year for the grand 150th anniversary in 2026 of the FFW Tapfheim. The fire brigade and the District Fire Brigade Association Dillingen coordinated the planning of the four-day festival weekend — festival tent logistics, program design, and invitation of guest brigades from the entire district of Dillingen.
Throughout 2025, the FFW Tapfheim participated as usual in parades and drills of neighboring brigades in the district of Dillingen and was involved in normal fire and disaster protection services.
In parallel, intensive preparation for the 2026 anniversary festival began. Bavarian fire brigades celebrate 150th anniversaries with significant organizational effort — the festival tent, catering logistics, program, and Sunday parade with dozens of guest brigades must be planned months in advance.
