Edition 2025 — 150 Years FFW Gansheim

In 2025, the Volunteer Fire Brigade Gansheim held its annual May Festival as a small club event. With catering at the Maypole and social gatherings in the village, the brigade was already preparing for the major 150th anniversary in 2026.

The annual May Festival in 2025 served as a prelude to the intensive anniversary preparations for the FFW Gansheim. The brigade members and their families gathered ideas, planned the festival schedule, and secured the participation of partner brigades for the major event in 2026.

Like many Bavarian brigades founded in the 1870s, the FFW Gansheim belongs to the generation of clubs that will celebrate their 150th anniversary in the coming years — a wave of festivals that will shape club life in the villages of Bavarian districts.
