In 2025, the Altenmünster Volunteer Fire Brigade was fully focused on preparations for its 150th anniversary in 2026. The festival committee and clubs planned the four-day founding festival that the brigade will host in July 2026.

The year 2025 was a year of preparation for the Altenmünster Volunteer Fire Brigade: the festival committee, together with local clubs and friendly brigades, organized the grand founding festival for the 150th anniversary, which will take place from July 9th to 12th, 2026. The brigade, founded in 1876, looks back on a long tradition of voluntary commitment in the Augsburg district. A special anniversary festival of this magnitude did not yet take place in 2025 – the celebrations are concentrated on the anniversary year 2026.
