150 Years FFW Ried (Jettingen-Scheppach)

The year 2025 was marked by preparations for the grand founding anniversary for the Ried Volunteer Fire Brigade. As usual, the brigade was involved in the village life of the Ried district, participated in festivals of neighboring brigades in the market town of Jettingen-Scheppach, and invested a significant portion of its club work in planning the 150th-anniversary celebration.

The traditional carnival events in Ried are a fixed date in the club calendar; in addition, the brigade maintains its fire station and club house at Hauptstraße 339 and is active in emergency services in the region as part of the Günzburg District Fire Brigade Association.

For the 2026 anniversary, a festival weekend was prepared together with neighboring brigades and the market town of Jettingen-Scheppach, culminating on Sunday, June 7, 2026.
