150 Years FF Förrenbach — Edition 2025

Preparing for a 150th-anniversary fire brigade celebration is a multi-year effort — comparable to preparing for a Gaufest in the traditional costume scene. In 2025, the FF Förrenbach focused on this preparation: establishing the festival committee, defining the program (festival evening, festival service, parade, list of guest fire brigades), liaising with the Nürnberger Land District Fire Brigade Association, and applying for the necessary permits from the municipality of Happurg.

In parallel, regular fire brigade duties continued: drills, operations, youth fire brigade activities, and vehicle maintenance. The voluntary commitment of the members forms the core of the festival tradition, which culminates in the anniversary weekend in 2026.
