150 Years Fire Brigade Horgau (Horgau on Fire)

In the 2025 club year, the FF Horgau focused on preparing for the major anniversary festival in 2026. As with any 150th founding festival in Bavaria, the organizational lead time is long: festival committee, patronage, marquee booking, band engagement, celebration evening concept, printing of the festival program, planning of the procession, and mobilizing neighboring brigades — everything must be arranged months in advance.

In parallel, regular fire brigade operations continued: training sessions, fire safety education, joint operations with neighboring brigades in the Augsburg district, especially Horgauergreut, Zusmarshausen, and Dinkelscherben. The FF Horgau is integrated into the Augsburg District Fire Brigade Association and actively participates in district events.
