15 Years of Children's Hospital Concerts – Benefit Open Air — Edition 2025

The association Kinderklinikkonzerte e.V. has been operating as a tour organizer for concerts in children's hospitals since 2011. The 2025 season continued this work: musicians traveled to German children's hospitals and performed in cancer wards, intensive care units, and child and adolescent psychiatry departments.

The concerts are logistically demanding: artists must adhere to hygiene regulations, often cannot use loud instruments, and the repertoire must be adapted to the emotional situation of the young patients. Despite this, or perhaps because of it, many hospital staff and parents report a significant impact from the concerts. The 15th anniversary in 2026 is being used by the association to make this quiet work publicly visible and generate new donations – an important step for the long-term financing of the touring work in the state of Hamburg and beyond.
