In the preparatory year 2025, the Volunteer Fire Brigade Plaue undertook organizational and programmatic preparations for its 140th-anniversary celebration in 2026. Plaue is among the oldest fire brigades in Brandenburg — founded on February 3rd, 1886, the association is one of the most traditional brigades in the state.
The annual association activities (drills, training, open day, children's operations) formed the framework for the year and consistently led up to the 140th-anniversary celebration.
