140 Years of the Eßfeld Volunteer Fire Brigade

Previous Year Focused on the Anniversary

In 2025, preparations for the 140th founding anniversary in May 2026 were underway in Eßfeld. The organizing committee worked on the program and honors, and the Würzburg District Fire Brigade Association coordinated the official date in the association's calendar. At the same time, the village brigade in the Bütthard district continued its regular operational duties.

No major standalone festival took place in Eßfeld in 2025 — the brigade concentrated its resources on the 2026 anniversary. Regular brigade drills, training sessions, and smaller club events supplemented the association's activities.
