In 2025, the Flechtingen Volunteer Fire Brigade marked the 139th year of its existence with the traditional ceremonial address and a smaller open day — in preparation for the big 140th anniversary in 2026.

2025 was dedicated to preparing for the big 2026 anniversary. The comrades organized club evenings, drills, and a summer party at the fire station.
