In 2025, the Oberleichtersbach Volunteer Fire Brigade focused on preparations for the major double anniversary in 2026. The brigade, the Soldiers' and Comradeship Association, and the village community made arrangements for the 125th anniversary of the FFW and 100 years of the Comradeship Association.

The year 2025 was a year of preparation for the Oberleichtersbach Volunteer Fire Brigade: The focus was on planning the extensive festival year 2026 for the 125th anniversary of FFW Oberleichtersbach and the 100th anniversary of the Soldiers' and Comradeship Association. The brigade, the association, and the village community coordinated the individual festival dates – St. Florian's Mass, nostalgia evening, and the grand festival weekend in September – as well as the parade and festival tent operations, to properly celebrate the significant double anniversary in 2026.
