Overview

The year 2025 was entirely dedicated to the preparation of the grand 125th-anniversary celebration in Pentecost 2026 for the FFW Beidl. The active members of the brigade met for regular drills, the general assembly, and club evenings, while intensively working on planning the festival weekend with DJ night, brass concert, procession, and Leonhardiritt.

In 2025, the Volunteer Fire Brigade Beidl did not host its own major festival – the brigade invested the entire year in preparing for the 2026 anniversary celebration. Program planning, promotion to patron clubs, organization of the Leonhardiritt, engagement of the festival bands (HulzStoussBoum, Saustoimusi, Blech Buam Musi, i-Düpferl), and coordination with the diocese for the field service with Bishop Dr. Josef Graf characterized the club's work.

In parallel, the brigade remained active in the normal operational and drill service for the market town of Plößberg. The 2026 anniversary festival thus marks the FFW Beidl's first major public appearance in several years.
