Overview

The 20th edition of the 11mm Football Film Festival took place in March 2025 at the Colosseum Berlin — a юбилей edition with an expanded program and a special focus on 20 years of festival history. Over 40 films from 17 countries, documentaries, classics, premieres. The Brot & Spiele e.V. association organized the festival as always with the Drosos Foundation, Volkswagen, and DFB Culture Foundation as funding partners.

The 2025 anniversary edition marked two decades of 11mm. Since 2003, the festival has evolved from a Berlin-specific event into an internationally recognized format — films and documentaries about football find their first or an important stage here.

Accompanying program 2025: the educational project 11mmCheck was expanded, new films from the project regions were presented within the festival framework. Special guests in 2025 were also from the coaching and player scene, and the Colosseum was sold out on several festival days.
