In 2025, preparations began for the grand anniversary in Gumperda. Initial initiatives from the village association and municipal administration laid the groundwork for the 2026 anniversary festival. An actual festival weekend did not yet take place in 2025 — traditional village life with sports and club events characterized the year in the Saaletal.
Before the 2026 Anniversary
The year 2025 in Gumperda was dedicated to preparations. Initial meetings between the village association, municipal administration, and volunteer fire department laid the organizational foundations for the 2026 anniversary. The actual festival weekend with historical performances, a festive parade, and a concert will only take place in 2026. Traditional village life with smaller club events, fire department festivals, and sporting occasions characterized the year.
