Rock On Isens — edition 2027
In 2027, R:O:I returns for its fifth year under the banner of Field Rock. Enjoy three days of open-air music from Thursday to Saturday, featuring a major headliner each day. Guests with a three-day festival pass will receive a special anniversary wristband to mark the occasion. More bands will be announced soon.
The fifth edition of the R:O:I Rock On Isens Festival will take place from June 24 to 26, 2027, at the Isenser Wisch in Butjadingen-Isens. Doors open at 4:00 PM each day, with music concluding at 1:00 AM.

Camping is available without a festival ticket, but concert area access requires a festival pass. Children aged 7 to 12 are admitted free when accompanied by an adult. Discounted tickets for seniors, students, and persons with disabilities are available upon request with proof. All tickets are personalized and sent as print@home PDFs via email.
Practical information — Rock On Isens
Doors open at 16:00 on festival days, with music concluding at 01:00.
Camping: Each person requires a camping entry ticket, plus a separate pitch ticket for a tent or camper van. A waste deposit is collected per pitch at check-in, which is refunded upon returning a full trash bag. Glass is prohibited on the camping grounds, and quiet hours are enforced from 02:00 to 08:00. Washrooms, shower containers, and toilets are available.
Children: Children aged 6 and under are not permitted on the festival or camping grounds. Children aged 7 to 12 are admitted free of charge when accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
Dogs: No animals are allowed on the concert grounds. Dogs are permitted on the camping grounds only with prior notice and must be kept on a leash.
Getting there: By car, take the A29 or A27 to Nordenham, then follow the signs toward Butjadingen. Parking is available in Isens.
The R:O:I Rock On Isens Festival is an intimate, family-friendly rock and pop open-air event in Isens, a district of Butjadingen on the Lower Saxon North Sea coast. Since 2023, the 'Isenser Wisch'—a meadow in the heart of the Butjadingen marshlands—has been transformed into a festival site for three days each year.
The musical program spans everything from rock, hard rock, and metal to pop, featuring both national and international acts. The festival prides itself on regional food and short walking distances.
The venue is situated within a protected landscape area. Consequently, the entire camping site is organized as 'Green Camping,' complete with a strict waste management policy and a deposit system. With the beach and the Wadden Sea just minutes away, many guests combine the festival with a short vacation by the North Sea.
