Marktspielsommer Bruck i.d.OPf.

The 2025 summer production of the Marktspielsommer Bruck continued the tradition of open-air theatre at the leisure centre. The Kultur- und Festspielverein Bruck e.V. has been working voluntarily for years, staging a summer and an autumn production each year at different venues.

The concept — a covered open-air stage, a combination of classics and contemporary plays, patronage by high-ranking representatives of the Upper Palatinate — has become well-established. Bruck i.d.OPf. is thus an important theatre location in a region often overshadowed theatrically by Regensburg.
