The 11th edition of the Zittau City Festival took place in July 2025, animating the city center for three days with stage programs, activity stands, live music, and the Schwarzbiergarten. The festival mile stretched from the Market Square and Rathausplatz via Johannisplatz to the Neustadt — cross-generational, with free admission.
City Festival 2025 — Tradition Continues
In 2025, the Zittau City Festival once again drew thousands of visitors from the Germany-Poland-Czech Republic Three-Country Corner into the city center. Three days of live music, the Schwarzbiergarten, a children's program, and the city stage characterized the weekend. The city of Zittau once again proved its role as the cultural center of the southern Görlitz district and solidified the City Festival as the most important summer event in the region's calendar.
