Overview
The Zittau Christmas Market 2025 ran from December 6th to 14th in the city center of the Upper Lusatian three-country town. A classic Christmas market with a light festival staging, a stage program with choirs and soloists, and extended opening hours for shops.
In 2025, the market once again offered a special atmosphere through the combination of traditional Christmas trade and nighttime light installations in the old town. Residents from the Polish and Czech border regions, as well as tourists from the Zittau Mountains and all of Upper Lusatia, visited the market. The Zittau Lenten Cloths in the Church of the Holy Cross and the Municipal Museums attracted a particularly large number of cultural travelers during the pre-Christmas period.
