Zeilitzheim Market Square Wine Festival

The 35th Market Square Wine Festival in 2025 in Zeilitzheim continued the village's decades-old tradition. On the festively illuminated market square, local vintners served their summer wines – Silvaner, Müller-Thurgau, Bacchus, and Schwarzriesling by the glass directly from the barrel. The village associations provided food, from the classic snacks (Brotzeit) and roast pork shoulder (Schäufele) to homemade cakes.

In the evening, the market square filled with visitors from Zeilitzheim, the neighboring districts of Kolitzheim (Lindach, Stammheim, Herlheim), and the wider region around Schweinfurt and Würzburg. Live music with a Franconian brass band and a dance band created a convivial atmosphere until late into the night. As every year, admission was free.
