Edition 2025 — Youth Pilgrimage Altötting
The 2025 Youth Pilgrimage took place as every year in spring. Several thousand young people journeyed on the five established routes to Altötting — a final stop before the big anniversary edition in 2026, when the pilgrimage will celebrate its 80th anniversary.
Youth Pilgrimage 2025
In 2025, the pilgrimage to Altötting once again set thousands of young people from the Diocese of Passau and beyond in motion. The five established routes from Regen, Grafenau, Osterhofen, Schönau, and Passau led pilgrims to the Upper Bavarian Marian pilgrimage site over three days.
As usual, the closing service in St. Anna's Basilica marked the emotional highlight of the pilgrimage. Preparations for the 80th anniversary in 2026 were already intensified this year.
