Yiddish Summer Weimar 2025 once again brought musicians, singers, language students, and dancers from around the world to the city of classical music. Several weeks of workshops, concerts, lecture-recitals, and discussions centered around Yiddish music, language, and culture. Approximately 12,000 visitors and over 300 international workshop participants.
Yiddish Summer 2025
The 2025 edition of Yiddish Summer Weimar continued the tradition of the most important international festival for Yiddish music and culture. For several weeks, Weimar hosted workshops for language, instruments, vocals, and dance, complemented by evening concerts during the festival week. Around 300 international participants attended the workshops, and approximately 12,000 visitors came for the concerts. Venues included mon ami, Eckermannhalle, E-Werk, Jakobskirche, and Park an der Ilm.
