Overview

In 2025, the Würzburg Carnival Parade again marched through the city center on Carnival Sunday. With favorable weather, around 100,000 spectators lined the route from Hauger Viertel through the Old Town. Numerous carnival clubs and 'Elferräte' from Würzburg and the region formed the parade with floats and marching bands.

The Würzburg Carnival Parade 2025 once again confirmed its status as Bavaria's largest carnival parade: with favorable weather, around 100,000 spectators flocked to the city center. From Hauger Viertel, the colorful procession of carnival clubs, 'Elferräte', floats, and marching bands wound its way through the Old Town.

As every year, the reigning Prince and Princess led the parade. The 1st Carnival Society Elferrat Würzburg organized the event, which is one of Lower Franconia's largest traditional festivals.
