Edition 2025 — Bach Days Würzburg
The Würzburg Bach Days 2025 in November once again dedicated themselves to the works of Johann Sebastian Bach. The program included orchestral and chamber concerts, cantatas in church services, and oratorios. On November 22, 2025, the Christmas Oratorio was performed in St. John's Church under the direction of Cantor Hae-Kyung Jung.
In 2025, the Würzburg Bach Days continued their tradition of over 50 years. In St. John's Church and other venues, the sacred and secular music of Johann Sebastian Bach was performed in orchestral concerts, chamber concerts, and cantata services. A highlight was the performance of the Christmas Oratorio on November 22, 2025, under the direction of Cantor Hae-Kyung Jung. Festive services, oratorios, and a children's concert rounded off the festival, confirming the Bach Days' reputation as one of the most important dates in the Franconian musical autumn.
