Overview
In 2025, the Zentrum Welterbe Bamberg once again invited visitors to the Welterbefest on the Böhmerwiese. As always, with free admission, an international partner country, and an open-air program of music, dance, a craft market, and culinary specialties – Bamberg's most vibrant connection of its UNESCO World Heritage status with living city culture.
The 2025 edition of the Welterbefest confirmed its format as an annual showcase event for living World Heritage policy in Bamberg. On the Böhmerwiese, locals, students, and World Heritage guests gathered for a day full of music, encounters, and culinary delights from the partner country.
The Welterbefest is thus one of Bamberg's few major events that are consistently accessible free of charge while also catering to an international audience.
