Edition 2025 — WOODSTICKEL

The 10th anniversary edition of the WOODSTICKEL Festival took place from May 22nd to 24th, 2025, at the Ponderosa festival grounds in Karlsruhe-Wolfartsweier. A special edition with an expanded stage and more bands — brass band music on Thursday, rock, pop, and blues evenings on Friday and Saturday, all with free admission. Organised by the Musikverein Einheit Wolfartsweier e.V., celebrating 10 years of free neighbourhood festival.

10 Years WOODSTICKEL — Anniversary 2025

In 2025, the WOODSTICKEL Festival celebrated its 10th anniversary at the Ponderosa festival grounds in Karlsruhe-Wolfartsweier. The Musikverein Einheit Wolfartsweier had put together an expanded line-up — brass band music on Thursday, rock, pop, funk, and blues on the two main evenings. Thousands of festival-goers from Karlsruhe and the wider region took advantage of the free admission to experience three days of diverse live music.

As on every WOODSTICKEL weekend, catering by the music club and cooperating clubs was an important component — beer, Swabian specialities, and snack offerings at fair club prices. A successful anniversary year that once again confirmed the unusual concept combination of brass band music plus pop/rock.
