Overview

The Wöllbicher Kirmes 2025 took place as usual on the last weekend of August. Four festival days with Plobaum erection on Saturday, Rhöner Plootz and wild boar goulash on Sunday, kettle meat and senior afternoon on Monday. Organizer TSV 1937 Wollbach. Despite the small village size, the Kirmes, as every year, attracted guests from all over the Rhön and the adjacent Saale valley.

Kirmes 2025 in Review

In 2025, the Wöllbicher Kirmes again showed its strengths: a clearly structured program with distinct traditional customs rituals, high-quality regional dishes (Rhöner Plootz, kettle meat, wild boar goulash), continuous live music, and a familiar village festival atmosphere.

TSV 1937 Wollbach as the Organizer

With TSV 1937 Wollbach, the local sports club has taken on the organizational responsibility for the Kirmes for decades. The connection between sports clubs and Kirmes is common in many Bavarian villages and ensures the personnel and financial basis of the festival days across generations.
