Edition 2025 — Wittower Erntefest
The 30th Wittower Erntefest took place on September 27, 2025, at the Rügenhof Putgarten. A festive parade through Putgarten, performances by brass bands and folk dance groups, animal shows, a seasonally decorated courtyard, and a harvest dance characterized the anniversary edition of the traditional Thanksgiving festival.
Review of the Wittower Erntefest 2025
The 30th edition of the Wittower Erntefest was celebrated on September 27, 2025, at the Rügenhof Putgarten. A festive parade through Putgarten, the Wieker Blasmusik, folk dance groups, animal shows by small animal breeders and shepherds, and regional specialties characterized the festival day, which concluded with a harvest dance in the barn.
The Erntefest confirmed its status as the most important traditional event on the Wittow peninsula. The 31st edition will follow in 2026 on September 26 and 27.
