Overview
In 2025, the Wittenberge Schützenfest also took place in its traditional format on the Schützenplatz at Parkstraße. Shooting competitions for the trophy, king's shoot, cannon salvos for the opening, and folk festival program — the Marksmen's Guild 1582 e.V. continued its centuries-old tradition with its usual public success. The 2025 edition laid the foundation for the direct continuation in 2026.
Schützenfest 2025 — Retrospective
The 2025 Schützenfest followed the proven program: opening on Friday, competitions and folk festival on Saturday, king's shoot and crowning on Sunday. The Wittenberge Marksmen's Guild 1582 e.V. confirmed its role as one of the city's most traditional civic associations — and at the same time as the organizer of one of the liveliest folk festivals in Prignitz. The 2025 edition laid the groundwork for the direct continuation in 2026.
