Overview

The Wismar Swedish Festival 2025 took place in August in the World Heritage old town. For four days, the festival mile stretched through the city to the Old Harbour, featuring the Carolean camp, concerts by Swedish artists, amusement rides, and a fireworks display. The children's Swedish festival, Kubb tournament, and Swedish Run invited participation.

The Wismar Swedish Festival 2025 was celebrated in August, once again commemorating the Swedish era of the Hanseatic city. The festival mile stretched through the entire old town to the Old Harbour, with Swedish artists and bands performing on several stages.

The programme included the Carolean Camp on the market square, amusement rides at the harbour, a fireworks display, as well as the regular participatory events: the Children's Swedish Festival, Kubb Tournament, Swedish Head Regatta, and Swedish Run. The historical Swedish Way featured a procession through the World Heritage old town.
