Overview

The Wismar Harbor Festival 2025 took place in June at the Old Harbor. For four days, traditional sailing ships and museum ships, dragon boat races, a barrel race, and a stage program on three stages attracted visitors to the World Heritage old town. The opening was marked by a barrel parade, and Saturday evening was crowned by a fireworks display.

The Wismar Harbor Festival 2025 was celebrated in June at the Old Harbor of the Hanseatic city. As every year, the barrel parade from the Schabbell Museum opened the maritime Volksfest (folk festival).

At the quay, visitors could tour traditional sailing ships and museum ships, while on the water, dragon boat races and a barrel race created excitement. Three stages, including the Sparkassen-Bühne at the Baumhaus, offered live music from sea shanty choirs to current acts. The highlight on Saturday evening was a fireworks display over the harbor.
