The Wipperfürth City Festival 2025 took place as usual on the third weekend of September in the town center. With a stage program at the market square, Sunday shopping, and the city run, the event attracted thousands of visitors from the Bergisches Land and Rhineland regions.

In 2025, the Wipperfürth City Festival followed its proven format: city run on Friday, stage program and family activities on Saturday, and Sunday shopping with a morning pint, special acts, and stage performances. The Werbe- und Entwicklungsgemeinschaft Wipperfürth (WEG) and the City of Wipperfürth organized the festival together.

As in previous years, the town center was closed to traffic from Friday 2 PM to Sunday 10 PM. The event attracted tens of thousands of visitors from Wipperfürth, Lindlar, Hückeswagen, Marienheide, and the surrounding Cologne area, confirming its established place in the event calendar of the Oberbergischer Kreis district.
