Winzerfest 2025 — Review

The 2025 Winzerfest once again brought together wine lovers from Werder, Potsdam, Berlin, and the wider region on the Werderaner Wachtelberg. Vintners from various German growing regions — primarily the neighboring Saale-Unstrut, but also from Saxony, Franconia, and Rheinhessen — presented their wines for tasting and sale.

The live music in the vineyard café and the food stalls provided the typical mix of wine culture and folk festival atmosphere that characterizes the Werder Winzerfest every year. As always, the organizer was the association for the promotion of historical viticulture in the Werder (Havel) region e.V., which manages the vineyard and has revived the tradition of Werder wine growing since the 1990s.

Admission remained free — a conscious decision by the association, which aims to keep the festival accessible to all wine enthusiasts.
