Overview

Winterträume 2025 in Stein near Nuremberg, as every year, took place in mid-November in the castle park of Count von Faber-Castell. For three days, around 120 selected exhibitors from all over Germany presented Christmas decorations, arts and crafts, fashion, and delicacies. Admission was charged, and the concept as a curated premium advent fair – an alternative to the classic Christmas market – proved successful once again.

The 2025 edition continued the proven concept: curated selection, historic castle setting, high-quality offerings, relaxed atmosphere. The stalls were spread across the castle park and castle rooms, complemented by warm food, mulled wine, and an accompanying program of live music and craft demonstrations.

As always, visitors traveled from Nuremberg, Fürth, Erlangen, and the wider region (Bamberg, Würzburg, Ansbach, even from Stuttgart and Munich) for a day trip. Faber-Castell Castle proved to be one of Bavaria's special advent market locations, a highlight of the pre-Christmas season both architecturally and atmospherically.
