About Wine Festival Holzminden

The Holzminden Wine Festival invites you to three summery days of wine, enjoyment, and live music in the Duftgarten by the Weserkai. From May 29th to 31st, 2026, the Holzminden City Marketing will open the Duftgarten – that special city garden ensemble that underscores the city's connection to the world of scents and aromas – for wine lovers from the Weserbergland region and beyond. Wines from the Rheinhessen and Württemberg growing regions, a French selection, as well as fruit and 'Mettweine' (wine made from fruit must) are available for tasting. Live music with Ron Philipps on Friday and the jazz duo Heuermann and Stoermer on Saturday will accompany the enjoyment. With a view of the Weser river, a festive atmosphere is created, which many visitors appreciate as a relaxed Pentecost event.
