WINDHOEK — International Wind Festival Trossingen — Edition 2025

The 2025 edition of WINDHOEK took place in April 2025 at the Trossingen University of Music. As in previous years, the international wind music festival brought together the five outstanding wind professors of the HfM, composers in residence from the international scene, and students of composition and wind instrument classes. Three evening concerts with programmatic links between classical wind music literature of the 20th and 21st centuries and contemporary premieres, composer workshops, a public rehearsal for young audiences, and a workshop with student works — the festival's proven structure once again demonstrated why Trossingen is considered one of the most important centers for wind music studies worldwide. The festival is part of the ongoing international discourse on wind music in Europe and can look back on a continuous tradition.
