In 2025, the Windgilde Bünsdorf once again celebrated its Gildefest on the last Saturday in May. A tradition that has been carried on with few interruptions since 1685 and continues to shape the social fabric of this small village on the Wittensee.
With the 2025 Gildefest, the Windgilde Bünsdorf continued its unbroken tradition. The members' meeting with reading of minutes, the festive procession through the village, and the convivial evening followed the choreography of previous decades. Examples like this show how rural Schleswig-Holstein preserves customs that other regions have long lost.
